Front Upper Control Arms
9 Front Upper Control Arms
When lifting IFS suspensions, the vehicle has to be aligned. Alignment is achieved by adjusting the eccentric bushings on the front A arms. Available range of adjustment is typically not enough to get the vehicle aligned to specifications.
Adding upper arms that either add a fixed amount of caster and camber or with adjustable ball joints allow additional adjustment range. Adjustable arms can also be used to offer more tire clearance fore or aft in the front wheel well.
