Description
The Slee front skid plate system is designed to protect the area under the radiator and the engine. The skid plates are manufactured out of High Strength Low Alloy (HSLA) 7GA (3/16″) laser cut steel plate. HSLA has nearly twice the strength and impact resistance of general purpose mild steel (A1011 and A36). 30-36ksi Yield strength vs 50ksi yield strength minimum.
The sliders are finished with powder coat finish. The pre-treatment includes baking to remove all oil, phosphate washing, sandblasting and coated with a two layer coating consisting of zinc rich primer and textured top coat.
