Description
The front skid plate is designed to provide protection of the front differential as well as radiator. It bolts to existing locations and is designed to fit with the Slee Differential Drop. The front skid plate can be used without any of the other plates installed. Spacer kit available if there is no diff drop installed.
The intermediate guard is fabricated from 3/16″ (7ga) High Strength Low Alloy (HSLA). HSLA has nearly twice the strength and impact resistance of general purpose mild steel (A1011 and A36). 30-36ksi Yield strength vs 50ksi yield strength minimum.
If the SLEE Differential Drop is not installed, spacers would need to be sourced to install between skid plate and stock differential cross member.
